The Grand Teton Music Festival is pleased to announce that world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma will take center stage for the annual Fundraising Gala on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Hailed as the transcendent musician of our time, Yo-Yo Ma will be making his first ever appearance at the acoustically-acclaimed Walk Festival Hall. Mr. Ma will perform Dvořák’s Cello Concerto, an audience favorite, with the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra, under the baton of esteemed Music Director Donald Runnicles. Additionally, Mr. Ma will join Festival musicians for performances of well-known chamber music works.
Tickets to the Fundraising Gala Concert are $250 per ticket.
In addition to the Fundraising Gala Concert, the Grand Teton Music Festival is offering two additional opportunities to meet Yo-Yo Ma personally.
The Festival is offering a VIP Experience, which includes a premier seat to the Fundraising Gala performance as well as an invitation to an after-party on the Walk Festival Hall stage. Michelin-starred chef Markus Glocker of Bâtard will prepare delectable hors d’oeuvres, wines from Domaine Drouhin and champagne from Taittinger will be served, and attendees have the exclusive opportunity to meet and mingle with Yo-Yo Ma.
VIP Tickets are $500 each and include a $225 tax-deductible donation.
For those seeking the ultimate, once-in-a-lifetime moment with Mr. Ma, the Festival is offering a Grand Experience with Yo-Yo Ma. The event includes an exclusive dinner party at an elegant private Jackson Hole home with Yo-Yo Ma on Monday, July 31. The evening includes a private performance by Yo-Yo Ma; one-on-one time with this world famous artist; a multi-course dinner prepared by chef Markus Glocker of Bâtard; the coveted Burgundy wines of the renowned house of Drouhin presented by Veronique Drouhin; and a champagne toast with Taittinger. There will never be another experience like this in Jackson Hole! Tickets to the Grand Experience with Yo-Yo Ma also include a premier seat at the Fundraising Gala Concert as well as a ticket to the VIP after-party.
Tickets for the Grand Experience are $7,500 per person and include a $6,250 tax-deductible donation.
Tickets to the Fundraising Gala—and all other 2017 summer events—will be available on March 1, 2017.
All proceeds from the Fundraising Gala will support the Festival’s yearlong music education programs, outreach activities, and exhilarating musical events for the Jackson Hole community.
