JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING –The Grand Teton Music Festival and the Center for the Arts are thrilled to announce the co-presentation of another season of MET Operas starting this October and going through March of 2015. Building upon the great success of last year’s five operas, this year we will be presenting seven operas!
All seven shows, presented at the Center, will include translations, behind-the-scenes glimpses of sets changing, and interviews with opera stars. Shows to be re-broadcast include Macbeth, Carmen, Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Mestersinger von Nurnberg, The Merry Widow, Les Contes d’Hoffman, and La Donna del Lago right in Jackson Hole. The first and last operas in our season will include pre-opera receptions with drinks and light fare included in ticket prices.
Last year’s presentation of MET Operas at the Center was a great success and we anticipate the same going in to this second year of fruitful collaboration! Tickets will be available through the Center’s box office by mid-September. Details about each show are available on the GTMF website (gtmf.org).
