About The Event
Winners of the 2018 Donald Runnicles Musical Arts Scholarship Competition return to Jackson Hole to perform an evening of chamber music. On Saturday, June 9, 2018, GTMF invited eight semi-finalists to perform in a daylong celebration of music at Walk Festival Hall and compete for $40,000 in scholarship prize money. Pianist Ben Kaufman, saxophonist Taylor King, and cellist Sophie Lyman won first, second and third prizes respectively. Their awards have been applied toward their ongoing study of music at the academic institution in which they’ve enrolled.
