A note of gratitude for outgoing Board Chairman David Donovan
The Grand Teton Music Festival extends its deepest thanks to David Donovan for his outstanding leadership and service as the outgoing Chairman of the GTMF Board of Directors.
During his tenure as Co-Chair and Chairman from 2022 to 2025, David helped launch the Setting the Stage campaign, a transformational effort that has strengthened the Festival’s foundation for years to come. His thoughtful guidance and generosity helped reconnect longtime supporters to the Festival and inspire new ones, leading GTMF to reach an incredible $50 million milestone for the campaign.
David has been a passionate ambassador for the Festival for years, sharing his love for music in the Tetons wherever he goes. Under his leadership, GTMF celebrated the 50th anniversary of Walk Festival Hall with a spectacular performance by Yo-Yo Ma, expanded its free community engagement programs to reach over 5,000 people each year, and achieved an exciting artistic milestone with the Festival’s first-ever commercial recording release of the Beethoven Piano Concerti with Garrick Ohlsson.
“Dave’s leadership has been both inspiring and transformative to our Festival. His tireless efforts to support the music on the Walk Festival Hall stage have strengthened our Festival in countless ways. We’re excited to build on the foundation he’s created,” said Don Larson, Incoming Chairman of the GTMF Board of Directors.
We are so grateful for David’s dedication, enthusiasm and vision. He will continue to serve on the GTMF Board and Executive Committee as Immediate Past Chairman.
