Humperdinck: Hansel and Gretel
Stranger Danger! A lost brother and sister learn important lessons about self-reliance and when to trust their instincts over their stomachs. Maestro Runnicles and the Festival Orchestra continue their ambitious annual opera tradition with Engelbert Humperdinck’s fairy tale for all ages, complete with props, staging and stunning projections.
Join us for a pre-concert talk at 5 PM with Heather Kurzbauer, GTMF Violin, and Mary Corbett, GTMF Violin, in the Barbara Furrer Goodman Memorial Garden near Walk Festival Hall’s north entrance. Talks are sponsored by the Goodman Family Foundation, in memory of Roy and Barbara Goodman.
