Led by GRAMMY®-nominated violinist Jeremy Kittel, Kittel & Co. stands at the forefront of American acoustic music. Hailed as “a stunning melting pot of classical and folk music” (Earmilk), the genre-bending ensemble draws inspiration from Celtic, bluegrass, jazz and classical music to create an unforgettable sound all their own.
Their debut album, Whorls, topped Classical Billboard charts and claimed the #1 spot on the Bluegrass chart. Making their Grand Teton Music Festival debut, the current lineup includes violinist/vocalist Jeremy Kittel, mandolin phenom Josh Pinkham, bassist Jacob Warren, guitarist Quinn Bachand, and hammer-dulcimer wizard Simon Chrisman.
This concert will be presented without intermission.
Come at 6:15 PM and enjoy a free concert in the Center for the Arts Lobby by the After the Bell Strings! After the Bell Strings is an elementary after-school program of Teton Music School, led onsite at Teton County School District elementary schools to give students meaningful early access to string instruction before district programs begin in middle school. Designed for 4th and 5th graders, the program introduces violin, viola and cello in a supportive ensemble setting, helping students build foundational skills, confidence and a love of music. This student lobby performance is part of TMS’s ongoing educational partnership with Grand Teton Music Festival, which connects learners of all ages with professional musicians to inspire the next generation of players and listeners.
This programming is supported in part by Creative West and the National Endowment for the Arts.
