Free and open to the public
More than 100 local eighth-grade and high school orchestra students unite for a weeklong strings clinic, culminating in a final performance.

StringFest unites local orchestra students from across the community for an immersive, weeklong workshop led by Grand Teton Music Festival. GTMF & Utah Symphony violinist Barbara Scowcroft leads the eighth-grade students and 15-year GTMF veteran & Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra violinist Lorien Benet Hart leads the high school students.

Join us for StringFest 2026 and celebrate the incredible work done by our local student musicians! This event is free and open to the public, no tickets required.

Please note: this year’s StringFest performance will take place at the Jackson Hole High School Auditorium.
