A Chamber Music Initiative for the Grand Teton Music Festival

GTMF’s chamber music commissioning project, Kaleidoscope, was born of the kaleidoscopic aspect of the talent and musical personalities of the Festival Orchestra. Just as the colors, patterns of light and shifting aspects of foreground and background change when viewed through a kaleidoscope, our appreciation of the musicians, their temperaments and the many combinations of instruments and personalities create endless opportunity for expression.

Commissioned Works:

  • Lynne Plowman’s Life Cycles (2025)
  • José González Granero’s Hojoki (2026)

Kaleidoscope’s mission of expanding chamber music repertoire and showcasing the musical genius on our stage would not be possible without your support. You can support Kaleidoscope by living artists and to create a body of works which reflect the vision of Grand Teton Music Festival to bring new works to GTMF’s stage and beyond. If you have any questions about your giving, please contact Tim Dodge, Director of Development, at tim@gtmf.org.
