Press Release: Grand Teton Music Festival Announces 2023 Season, June 30-August 19

The Grand Teton Music Festival (GTMF) is delighted to announce its 62nd season with eight weeks of performances under the leadership of Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles. The 2023 summer season features robust orchestral and chamber music performances, Gateway series concerts, special events, the continuation of GTMF’s opera initiative and Sunday Matinee Piano Recitals, and events for the community including GTMF On the Road performances.

GTMF’s Hooten stars in Williams concerto – Jackson Hole News&Guide

Grand Teton Music Festival audiences will get a sample of that oeuvre this weekend when the orchestra performs Williams’ Trumpet Concerto. Longtime GTMF trumpet player Thomas Hooten will solo on the exciting, athletic concerto, with GTMF Associate Conductor Jerry Hou conducting. Guest conductor Eun Sun Kim was originally slated to lead the program but had to cancel due to illness, according to the festival.
