GTMF guests celebrate Christmas in song – JH News & Guide

Christmas is a sense of home that might not be a place on a map, said singer-producer Scott Coulter, but “a place in your heart, in your soul, in your mind.”

It’s too complicated for words, really, which might be why so many Christmas carols have been written over the centuries.

Coulter will present a few of those well-known songs with some friends — longtime collaborator pianist John Boswell, and film, TV and Broadway performers Kerry O’Malley and Aaron Lazar — in a program brought to Jackson by the Grand Teton Music Festival.

“The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” sold out its 7 p.m. slot at the Center for the Arts, so a second show has been added at 4 p.m.
