…The holiday falls right at the start of the annual Grand Teton Music Festival, which is dedicating the nights of both July 3 and 4 to patriotic programming.
“We are celebrating the Fourth of July both on the third — at our family concert, a program called ‘Home of the Brave,’ which is geared towards younger listeners — and then on Tuesday, July 4, we have our Patriotic Pops,” said Emma Kail, the festival’s executive director. “Both are free and open to the public on the lawn at the Center for the Arts, and people can bring a picnic and show up and hear our incredible orchestra.”
On July 3, there will be an “instrument petting zoo” starting at 5 p.m. with the Jackson Hole Community Orchestra. The GTMF orchestra will then play patriotic favorites like “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and “Armed Forces Medley,” plus music from Star Wars, and more.
On July 4, the Patriotic Pops concert features guest appearances by married Broadway stars Nikki Renée Daniels and Jeff Kready.
